How To Cook Chocolate Cake With Walnuts, Chestnuts And Quinces - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Chocolate cake with walnuts, chestnuts and quinces". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products

For the dough:

3 eggs

1.5 teaspoons of sugar (maybe less)

100 grams of melted butter

200 milliliters of cream

1 teaspoon (topped) flour

3 tablespoons cocoa

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup walnuts

1/2 cup chestnuts (peeled)

3 quinces

For the glaze:

200 grams of cream

2/3 tea cup sugar

3 tablespoons cocoa

50 - 70 grams of butter

For decoration:

12 - 16 roasted peeled chestnuts

12 - 16 halves of nuts

3 - 4 tablespoons of sugar

Method of preparation:

Beat the eggs with the sugar, add the butter and cream. Coarsely grind the walnuts and chestnuts. Mix all dry ingredients and combine them with the liquid ones. Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into 12 pieces.

Put the resulting dough in a greased form (about 26 cm in diameter) and arrange the quince pieces in a circle, pressing them to sink into it.

Bake the dessert at 180 degrees until ready (about 40 - 50 minutes).

During this time, make the glaze. To do this, mix the sugar and cocoa, there should be no lumps. Add the cream and put the mixture on low heat. Bring to the boil until the sugar is completely melted, stirring constantly. Add the butter to the prepared glaze and remove the mixture from the hob.

Carefully peel the roasted chestnuts, trying to keep them whole. In a small bowl, pour the sugar and put on the stove. When it melts (be careful not to burn it), dip the walnuts in it halfway. Do the same with the chestnuts. Arrange them on baking paper. From the remaining caramel you can make a "cobweb" to decorate the cake. This is done by dipping a spoon in the caramel, then taking it out and drawing the cobweb on the baking paper with the flowing stream with quick movements.

Drizzle the finished dessert (you can not wait for it to cool) with the glaze, decorate with caramelized walnuts, chestnuts and sweet "cobweb".

Enjoy!
