How To Cook Chocolate Crackers From Jewish Maca Bread - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Chocolate crackers from Jewish maca bread". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 5 sheets of matzah bread
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 340 grams of chocolate chips (or finely chopped chocolate)
  • 1 cup crushed pecans (or walnuts)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Method of preparation :

Cover a rectangular tray with aluminum foil and arrange the maca leaves tightly next to each other to cover the bottom.

Make caramel from the brown sugar and pour over the bread to cover it. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 170 degrees until the caramel turns dark brown.

Sprinkle the hot caramel with the chocolate and wait a few minutes for it to melt. Spread lightly with a spatula and sprinkle with crushed walnuts and sea salt.

Refrigerate for 20 minutes, then break into pieces.
