Learn how to cook "Crispy breaded bites of cauliflower and carrots". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 2 carrots, peeled and cut into large pieces
  • 220 grams of cauliflower, roses
  • 5 tablespoons oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 3 eggs
  • ketchup for serving
  • frying oil

Method of preparation :

Put the cauliflower and carrot in a food processor and grind to get pieces the size of a rice grain. Transfer to a bowl, pour 1 tablespoon oil and salt. Cover with plastic wrap and heat in the microwave for 3 minutes. Remove the foil and allow the mixture to cool completely.

Mix the cheese with the garlic, chives, pepper, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs and salt. Add to the vegetable mixture and mix well.

Grease a pan with oil and spray with cooking spray.

Form small bites with your hands (preferably in the shape of a cylinder), arrange them in the tray.

Refrigerate for 10 minutes.

Put the eggs, flour and breadcrumbs in three different plates.

Roll the bites in flour, then dip them in the beaten eggs, and finally cover them with breadcrumbs. Return them to the pan and refrigerate for 10 minutes or up to 1 hour.

If desired, the bites can be baked or fried:

Turn the oven to 210 degrees. Bake them for about 20-25 minutes until dark and crispy. Serve them immediately.

If you want to fry them, heat oil (the amount should be at least about 4-5 centimeters from the bottom of a small saucepan) and fry the pieces in pieces until golden - about 2 minutes. Transfer them to paper to separate the fat.

Serve the bites with ketchup or another sauce of your choice.
