We offer you an interesting idea for fish stew - with cod, king prawns and vegetables. The ingredients are for 2 servings and the preparation will cost you only 30 minutes .

 

Necessary products

  • 2 cod fillets, cut into pieces
  • 85 grams of raw, peeled king prawns
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
  • 2 carrots, cut into cubes
  • 2 stalks of celery, finely chopped
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 leeks, thinly sliced
  • 1 can (400 grams) chopped tomatoes
  • 500 milliliters of hot fish broth

 

Method of preparation

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the fennel seeds, carrots, celery and garlic. Cook for 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are soft.

Put leeks, tomatoes and fish broth in the pan and wait until they boil. Cover the pan and reduce the temperature. Simmer for about 20 minutes to thicken the broth and the vegetables to become soft.

Add the fish and shrimp and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Serve the finished stew in bowls while still warm. Enjoy your meal!
