Necessary products

For the dough:

  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 2-3 teaspoons of flour

For the chocolate cream:

  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons starch
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa


Method of preparation :

Warm the milk needed for the dough. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in it, beat the egg. Stir, add a little flour and make a liquid dough, which you leave for 20 minutes to activate the yeast. When this happens, add the remaining flour and knead a pliable dough, which you divide into 5 balls.

Put about 20 grams of oil in each and store in the freezer or refrigerator for 2 hours.

Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate cream. Mix the starch, sugar and egg. In this combination, pour the cocoa, pour the warm milk and place the dish on the stove. Cook until the consistency thickens and allow to cool.

Return to the dough. Roll each ball (2-3 buns are obtained from one, depending on their size) thinly, with a layer thickness of 3-4 millimeters. Put a spoonful of cream in the middle and spread it on the dough.

Roll up a roll that you shape into a snail. In this way, prepare the remaining amount of dough.

Arrange the rolls in a greased pan and place in the oven preheated to 200 degrees. In 20-25 minutes the "snails" will be ready.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
