How To Cook Fresh Cabbage Stewed With Minced Meat And Rice - Recipe

Required products :

  • 500 grams of minced meat (best mixture)
  • 1 kg of cabbage
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 2 onions
  • 2 carrots
  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup of meat or vegetable broth
  • spices

 

Method of preparation :

Cut the carrots and onions into medium pieces, mix with the minced meat and add spices of your choice.

Pour warm water over the rice for 15 minutes, then rinse several times until the liquid becomes clear. Combine with the minced meat.

Chop the cabbage finely, spread some of it on the bottom of a large bowl with thick walls, pour the minced meat with rice and vegetables on this layer, on top - the rest of the cabbage.

Dilute the tomato puree in a glass of vegetable or meat broth and pour the products into the pot with the liquid.

Let the dish cook over medium heat for about 40 minutes under a lid.
