How To Cook Garlic Mussels In Cream Sauce With Prosciutto - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 230 grams of mussels, well washed and slightly dried
  • 80 grams of prosciutto, chopped in bulk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 3 cloves garlic, pressed or grated
  • 1/4 tea cream
  • 1/4 tea glass of white wine
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk of green onion, finely chopped

Method of preparation :

  • Season the mussels with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Divide the mussels in one layer and fry them on both sides for about 1-2 minutes until golden.
  • Transfer them to a plate and set aside.
  • In the same pan, fry the chopped prosciutto for 3-5 minutes until slightly crispy.
  • Add the butter and garlic and cook for a few more minutes.
  • Add the cream and white wine. Stir and season with salt and pepper to taste, if necessary.
  • After about 2 minutes, return the mussels to the pan and sprinkle with green onions and parsley.
  • Serve the dish warm.
