Required products :

  • 2 tablespoons chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar (or other)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 whole mackerels (or 4 trout), cleaned

Method of preparation :

To prepare the marinade, mix the chili paste, olive oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar and ginger until smooth. Set aside 2 tablespoons in a bowl.

Cut the fish in half, season with marinade and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes.

Heat the grill grill and grease it. Bake the fish on one side for 3 to 5 minutes, turn and season with the reserved 2 tablespoons of marinade, bake until done. Serve the mackerel with potato or vegetable salad.
