Required products :

2 teaspoons raw sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil (or other vegetable)
50 milliliters of boiling water
coarse sea salt to taste
1 tablespoon soy sauce - optional

Method of preparation :

Distribute the sesame seeds evenly in a thick-walled pan and bake them until golden on low heat. Stir.

Once you remove the pan from the hob, transfer its contents to a suitable container and allow to cool. Grind with a blender or use a mincer. Powder should be obtained (the finer the bolder, the more homogeneous the slurry will be).

It's time to pour the hot water, followed by sesame oil. Among the other fats, it is best to choose olive oil.

First add 3 tablespoons, continuing to grind. Gradually add as much oil as needed to reach the desired consistency.

Try the pasta to taste and, if you deem it, add extra salt.

In case you decide to use soy sauce, add it at the end.

The sauce is ready. Store it in a tightly closed box in the refrigerator. The paste is edible within a few months if stored this way.

Enjoy your meal!
