How To Cook Lavash Pies And Sauerkraut Stuffing With Minced Meat - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Lavash bread pies and sauerkraut stuffing with minced meat". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • ready Armenian lavash bread
  • sour jelly
  • minced mixture (or optional)
  • onion
  • dill
  • oil
  • Hot water
  • left
  • spices to taste and optional
  • determine the quantities yourself according to the desired number of pies and your personal taste preferences

Method of preparation :

Finely chop the onion and fry it in oil until transparent. Then add the sauerkraut, mix everything well, increase the heat and fry for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly. It's time for the minced meat, add it, let the mixture cook for another 7 - 10 minutes.

Pour a little boiling water (the amount should reach about 2-3 mm from the filling), season to taste, reduce the temperature to a minimum and let everything simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. If a lot of grease comes up on the surface, remove it. At the end of cooking, increase the heat as much as possible and let the liquid evaporate. Remember to stir constantly. Two minutes before removing the filling from the heat, add finely chopped fresh dill.

Cut the bread into squares according to the desired size of the pies. One tip: remove the lavash cakes from the package just before preparing the snacks, because otherwise it will become hard.

In the middle of each piece of dough put a little of the filling and close, forming patties. Bake them in a well-heated pan, which you have greased with a little oil. Let them bake first on the side where the ends of the drink join when folded. About a minute and a half on each side is enough.

Enjoy your meal!
