Learn how to cook "Mackerel with potatoes, vegetables and white wine in the oven". Delicious recipe.
Necessary products:
4-6 large mackerel
1-1.5 kg of potatoes
80 ml of olive oil
80 ml oil
4 cloves garlic
1 onion
2 red peppers
2 bay leaves
5-6 tomatoes (canned or fresh, or both)
100 g of bacon
connection chopped parsley
200 ml of white wine
2 sec. l. butter
juice of 1/2 lemon
salt and pepper to taste
Method of preparation:
Clean the fish and make several incisions on both sides. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice, leave for 15 minutes to absorb the flavors. Pour the oil or olive oil into a pan, put the bay leaf, onion and garlic cut into semicircles, fry them. Add the bacon and peppers, cut into long strips and stew for at least 5 minutes (you can not fry the bacon, but put it on the prepared vegetables). It's time for tomatoes, parsley and wine - add them. Stir, bring to a boil and turn off the heat.
Put the remaining 80 ml of fat in a deep pan (pot, pan), arrange in it pre-cooked (but not boiled) whole potatoes (you can cut into cubes or halves), season with salt and pepper, lightly fry.
Take a large deep pan, pour in the vegetables and on them - the fish. Arrange the potatoes next to it, pour the broth left over from stewing the vegetables. Put a piece of butter on each mackerel and bake in a preheated oven for 35-45 minutes. 15-25 minutes after the start of baking, turn the fish. Do not toast it so that it does not become dry.
Serve with lettuce or stewed green beans.
