Necessary products

 

For the dough:

250 - 300 grams of corn flour

100 grams of wheat flour

100 grams of yogurt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 - 2 tablespoons oil

salt to taste

 

For the stuffing:

nettle connection

1 onion

1 egg

black pepper and salt

oil (for frying and spreading)

sour cream for serving

 

Method of preparation :

Mix the two types of flour, make a hollow in which you put salt, soda, milk, oil and knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. Leave it for 30 - 40 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling. It can be different, for example: minced meat with fried onions and spices, cottage cheese and egg or something of your choice. In this case, nettle is used.

 

Clean the nettle from the hard parts and stems, wash well and put for 5 minutes in boiling water. Then drain the liquid.

Finely chop the onion and fry it, add the chopped nettle, stir and leave on the stove for 4-5 minutes, season with salt and pepper. Remove the mixture from the heat and add the egg, stir and the filling is ready.

Break a little of the dough, form balls. In the middle of each make indentations with your finger and put in them the stuffing. Close, giving the shape of balls, which you steam.

Spread butter on the finished cakes and serve with cream (maybe garlic if desired).
