How To Cook Marinated Garlic In White Wine And Spices - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Marinated garlic in white wine and spices". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 5 medium-sized heads of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon spices: rosemary, thyme, basil, sage, oregano, savory
  • 500 milliliters of water
  • salt to taste
  • 3 bay leaves
  • serving parsley
  • 30 milliliters of dry white wine

Method of preparation :

Pour half a liter of water into a saucepan and place on the stove to boil.

Divide the garlic cloves into cloves, pour them into boiling water for 30 seconds, then drain the liquid and pour cold water over the garlic. Peel the cloves.

Heat three tablespoons of olive oil in a suitable pan and put them in it. When you hear the characteristic "chirping", reduce the heat to a minimum.

Then add the herbs and spices to the garlic and fry it for 25-30 minutes, shaking the dish and not allowing the cloves to burn. The hob temperature must be kept to a minimum at all times.

When the garlic is ready, increase the temperature to maximum and pour the wine. Cook until it evaporates completely and add salt if desired.

Transfer the cloves to a plate, remove the bay leaf, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and you can serve the garlic both hot and cold.

It is served as a stand-alone appetizer, a side dish to roast meat, an addition to a salad or soup.

Have a good time!
