Necessary products

For the omelet:

  • 6 eggs
  • 100 grams of mayonnaise
  • 1/2 bunch fresh dill (optional)
  • dried basil (optional)
  • ground black pepper (optional)

For the stuffing:

  • 500 grams of fried beef liver (maybe another)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 medium carrot
  • breading flour
  • 150 grams of butter
  • left
  • ground black pepper

Method of preparation:

Mix the eggs with the mayonnaise, a little spice if desired and beat until smooth. Add chopped dill.

Stuffing: cut the liver into pieces, season with salt and pepper, roll in flour and fry in 50 grams of butter on all sides. When the liver cools, grind it with a meat grinder, add to it the softened butter, stewed carrots with onions and beat until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Pour the prepared omelette mixture into a pan lined with baking paper and place in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes. Spread the pate evenly on the finished omelette and roll it up with baking paper or foil. Leave for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator to harden. Then remove and cut into pieces.

You can prepare different fillings for the roll. Here are some options:

- Stuffing of melted cheese and garlic - grate coarsely melted cheese, mix it with crushed garlic, finely chopped dill, mayonnaise, salt and mix well.

- Fish stuffing - mash canned sardines in oil with a fork, add finely chopped onion, mayonnaise, salt.
