Necessary products:
400 g of rice
500 g mushrooms
1 - 2 onions
1 - 2 carrots
olives

Method of preparation:
Pour water over the rice and leave it for an hour. It should be prepared in a thick-bottomed dish. Cut the mushrooms and fry in a little oil. When the liquid evaporates, add the chopped onion (to turn red), then the carrots, cut into straws, salt and stew everything for 5 minutes. Put the olives and leave on the stove for another minute.
Drain the water from the rice and fry it, add the spices, turmeric (to give a beautiful yellow color), then pour salted boiling water, 3 -4 cm above the rice. Close the pan with a lid and let the dish simmer on low heat or in the oven until the rice is fully cooked. When this happens, wait 15-20 minutes, stir the pilaf, spread on a plate and serve.
