Required products :

  • 12 grams of fresh pressed yeast (1/4 of a cube of 50 grams)
  • 250 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 350 grams of flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 250 grams of cooked sausage
  • 1 head of ordinary onion
  • 1 red onion (optional)
  • several pieces of bacon (optional)
  • 200 grams of yellow cheese
  • ketchup (spicy)
  • pickles
  • other optional additives: tomatoes, sweet peppers, olives

Method of preparation :

Put the yeast in a glass and leave in a warm place. Add salt and sugar to the fresh milk, which is warmed (not hot, but a little warm) to completely melt the sweet and salty crystals. Then pour 3 tablespoons of the liquid in the yeast, stir and wait for a "foam hat".

Beat the egg (you can use a wire for this purpose or a mixer), pour the remaining milk and beat again. Then pour the flour (it is recommended to sift it), stir, add the dissolved yeast and knead the dough, in which pour 1 tablespoon of oil.

Cut the sausage and the ordinary onion, fry them lightly in the remaining fat (1 tablespoon), cool.

Grate 100 grams of yellow cheese and add together with the sausage to the dough. Mix well, cover with cling film and leave in a warm place for 40 minutes.

Grease a pan with oil or butter, spread the dough in it and level its surface. Let stand 10 minutes and then bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.

Remove the pie from the oven, but leave it in the pan. Spread with spicy ketchup, put sliced red onion on it, if desired (you can pre-marinate it in vinegar), also a few pieces of bacon and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese.

Other additives of your choice and taste follow, such as tomato slices, pieces of sweet pepper, pickles or olives.

Return the pie to the oven for another 10-15 minutes.

Once ready, remove to a wooden base and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Have a good time!
