Required products :
1 kg of plums
6 teaspoons sugar
4 teaspoons water
Method of preparation :
Wash the plums, divide them in two and remove the stones.
Pour the water into a suitable bowl or saucepan and add the sugar. Put the dish on the stove and bring the liquid to a boil, stir.
Pour the plums with the prepared syrup and leave them in it for 3-4 hours. Then heat almost to boiling, remove from heat, allow to cool and leave for 8-12 hours.
Then boil the jam for 5-8 minutes and leave for another 8-12 hours.
Then cook until ready - about 10-15 minutes. Distribute the jam in jars while still hot, and close.
You can use additives of your choice when preparing the jam - walnuts, orange, lemon.
