Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 400 grams of fennel, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
  • 400 grams of sausage - raw
  • 1 tablespoon mustard - whole grain
  • 250 milliliters of chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 200 grams of polenta
  • 50 grams of whipped cream or sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons dill

Method of preparation :

Heat olive oil and fry the fennel, along with the seeds, garlic and pepper. After 10-12 minutes, add a little water.

Squeeze the inside of the sausages into the mixture and stir to crush it. Add the mustard and fry until done.

Pour the broth and cheese, stir to dissolve, cook for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Pour 800 milliliters of hot water over the polenta. When it absorbs the liquid, add the sour cream and season.

Serve the polenta in two bowls, top with the fennel and the wage.
