How To Cook Puff Pastry Pie Stuffed With Chicken Trifles - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Puff pastry pie stuffed with chicken trifles". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 500 grams of puff pastry
  • 500 grams of chicken liver
  • 400 grams of chicken heart
  • 300 grams of chicken mill
  • 2 onions (large)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Method of preparation :

Thoroughly clean all the little things, wash them well.

Pour enough water into the pan, add salt, put on the stove and wait for it to boil. Then pour the watermelons in it, let the liquid boil again (on high heat), reduce the temperature to medium and cook the product for half an hour. Then add the heart, and 20 minutes later the liver. Cook everything for another 7-10 minutes.

Peel an onion and cut it as finely as possible, fry it in the fat until it acquires a rich golden color, but be careful not to burn it.

Drain the offal from the broth, wait for it to cool a bit and cut them into pieces (but not too small), which you mix with the fried onions. Season with black pepper, add salt and the pie filling is ready.

Divide puff pastry sheets into two parts, one larger than the other (1/3 and 2/3). Roll out the larger one until you get a layer enough to cover the bottom and walls of the pan in which you will bake the pie, and some of the dough to come out of the pan.

After putting the puff pastry base in the form, distribute the filling of chicken trifles with onions and close the ends of the dough to the center of the dish, so it will cover some of the offal.

Roll out the rest of the dough, put it on the chicken mixture and lightly pinch the edges.

Make small incisions on the surface, smear the yolk, beaten with a little water.

Put the pan in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.

Enjoy your meal!
