Necessary products:

1 kg of quinces

1 small lemon

100 grams of walnuts

800 grams of sugar

Method of preparation:

Pour 1 jar of water into the pan, pour the sugar and stir until the mixture boils. Wash the quinces, dry them and cut into 4 parts. Clean the seeds and cut into pieces 5 - 6 mm thick. Put the fruit in the syrup, stir and wait for everything to boil. Remove the pan from the heat, cover with a towel and leave for 12 hours. Then put the jam on the fire again, bring to a boil, stirring it gently periodically and leave for another 12 hours. Remove the quinces from the syrup with a slotted spoon and bring to a boil twice. Cut the lemon into circles and remove the seeds. Put the pieces of quince and lemon in the prepared sweet liquid, stir. Pour the walnuts (you can break the whole nuts into 2-3 pieces), put the pot on the stove and bring to a boil.
