How To Cook Quinoa With Tomatoes, Garlic, Pine Nuts And Sesame - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Quinoa with tomatoes, garlic, pine nuts and sesame seeds". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

300 grams of quinoa

1 medium onion (about 100 grams)

20 milliliters of olive oil

40 grams of cedar nuts

1 teaspoon salt

3 cloves garlic

200 grams of cherry tomatoes

20 grams of sesame seeds

Method of preparation :

Boil the quinoa in salted water according to the instructions on the package (about 15 minutes).

Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and garlic.

Drain the liquid from the cooked beans (they will become transparent).

Fry onions and garlic in olive oil until transparent, stirring constantly and not allowing them to change colors.

At the end of cooking, add the cut into 2 - 4 pieces of tomatoes (depending on their size) and after 2 - 3 minutes remove the mixture from the heat (during this time, stir gently).

Tomatoes should soften but not lose their shape. Then add the quinoa to them and let the dish cook for 5-7 minutes.

Mix the pine nuts and sesame seeds and bake them in a dry pan until golden brown and the characteristic aroma appears. Be careful and stir because cedar nuts burn quickly.

Add 2/3 of the mix of nuts and seeds to the quinoa, stir. Sprinkle the remaining amount on the dish and serve warm.

Enjoy your meal!
