For work, we need sushi rice - 200 g, rice vinegar - 2.5 tbsp. l., salt - 1 tsp., sugar - 1.5 tbsp. l., water - 270 ml, saucepan, wooden spoon.
Rinse the rice thoroughly in cold water, changing the water constantly. As a result, the water should remain clean.
Pour the rice into the pot and add water.
Place the rice over medium heat and cover the pot with a lid. Once the rice comes to a boil, lower the heat to the lowest setting and cook the rice for 10 minutes. Remove rice from heat and leave covered for 10 minutes.
Prepare the vinegary rice dressing. To do this, combine rice vinegar, sugar and salt. Stir until completely dissolved.
Combine rice and vinegar dressing. Gently stir the rice with a wooden spoon.
Sushi rice is ready.
