Required products :

  • 1-1.5 teaspoons of rice
  • 1 pepper (not hot)
  • 1/2 head old onion
  • 1-2 garlic cloves
  • 100-150 grams of cheese (white brined or feta)
  • 200-300 grams of spinach
  • 2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil (preferably olive oil)

Method of preparation :

Boil the rice (in a ratio of 1: 3 with water). Peeled peppers cut into small cubes. Peel an onion and chop it.

Mash the garlic cloves, use a press for this purpose.

In a large bowl, heat the olive oil and fry the onion, garlic and pepper over medium heat (until the products soften).

Then add the whole spinach leaves to them (you can put more than indicated in the recipe), stir and remove the mixture from the heat.

The leaves should not be cooked, because they will lose their color and shape.

Drain the liquid from the prepared rice and mix it with the vegetables.

Crush feta cheese or white brine on top. Mix everything and reduce the temperature of the hob.

After about a minute you can serve the rice. Sprinkle with ground black pepper if desired.

Serve as a standalone dish or as a side dish.

Enjoy your meal!
