Necessary products:
3 eggs
150 g of flour
1 tsp baking powder
30 ml peanut butter
50 ml sunflower oil (or corn)
130 ml of fresh milk
100 g grated cheese
2 heads of shallots (can and without it)
150 g canned chestnuts (raw clean and cook for 20 minutes)
100 grams of bacon
salt and spices to taste
Method of preparation:
Beat the eggs, flour and baking powder with a wire whisk until smooth and lumpy. Add the butter, milk and cheese.
Fry the pieces of bacon (and onion) in a pan with a teaspoon of oil (you decide how much to fry) and briefly put the chopped chestnuts. Drain the fat and add the bacon and chestnuts to the dough. Season with salt and spices, pour the mixture into a form lined with baking paper. Put for about 45 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Check readiness with a toothpick.
Extremely unusual combination - unsweetened cake, bacon, chestnuts and golden crust - goes perfectly with a beer.
