Required products :

  • 1 1/2 cans of black beans (from 400 grams of can)
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 250 grams of mushrooms
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian spice mix
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper

for tomato sauce:

  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, mashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
  • 500 milliliters of tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • cakes are sandwiches (like small bagels)
  • garlic oil
  • slices of mozzarella (or yellow cheese)

for the salad:

  • 4 teaspoons lettuce
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced ​​cucumber

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons natural honey
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Drain the beans and place in a pan. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees to dry completely, stirring in the middle of baking. Cool.

Meanwhile, in a pan, fry the onions with the mushrooms until soft. Cool them.

Put the oatmeal in a food processor and grind it to make flour. Add to them the mushrooms with onion, garlic, beans, parsley, soy sauce, paprika, Italian spice mix, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth.

Form balls, which you fry in a little olive oil until they acquire a golden crust.

Prepare the sauce - fry the onion in olive oil until soft. Add the garlic and hot pepper flakes. Fry to release their aroma and add the tomato sauce, stir and simmer for 10 minutes, then season with salt, pepper and sugar. Put the bean meatballs in the sauce, stir.

Cut the loaves lengthwise without cutting them to the end. Brush them generously with garlic oil and put 3-4 meatballs in each bagel. Place the mozzarella on top and bake for 5 minutes on high heat to melt the cheese.

Meanwhile, mix all the vegetables for the salad. In a small bowl, combine the sauce products and pour over the salad. Stir and serve with sandwiches.
