Almond oil adds a pleasant nutty taste and 7 grams of protein to this healthy banana smoothie.

Required products :

  • 1 small frozen banana
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons almond oil
  • 2 tablespoons protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (honey or other sweetener)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 4-6 ice cubes

Method of preparation :

Blend to a creamy consistency banana, almond milk and butter, protein powder, maple syrup, cinnamon and ice cubes. Serve in a glass and sprinkle with a little cinnamon and crushed almonds if desired.
