Necessary products:
for the dough
- 400 grams of flour
- 7 grams of dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 egg
- 200 milliliters of fresh milk
- 30 grams of soft unsalted butter
for garnish
- 5 teaspoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- pinch of salt
- a pinch of black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 100 grams of grated mozzarella
- a few sprigs of fresh basil
Method of preparation:
In a bowl, mix the flour and add all the dry ingredients. Make a medium and pour all the liquid products. Stir and make a dough.
Leave it to rise and roll it into a rectangular shape. Add olive oil, sugar, salt, pepper, garlic, basil to the tomato paste and stir.
Spread the crust with the resulting mixture, sprinkle evenly with mozzarella and roll.
Using a sharp knife, cut it and arrange in a tray lined with a sheet of parchment. Spread with beaten egg yolk and sprinkle with chopped fresh basil.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the pizza until done. Break and serve still warm.
