Required products :

  • 4-6 chicken legs
  • 4-5 potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 eggplants
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 pepper (sweet)
  • oil, black pepper, salt

For the sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoons fresh dill and / or parsley

Method of preparation :

Cut the legs in half, do not remove the fat, it will make the dish more juicy. Wash the meat, arrange on a plate and leave the moisture away for a while.

In a deep pan, heat oil and lightly fry the chicken, letting a golden crust form on all sides. Add salt.

Peel an onion and cut it into cubes, tomatoes - into semicircles.

Peel the carrots, cut them in half lengthwise and then into small pieces. Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into thin strips. Turn the aubergines (without peeling) into circles.

Pour onions and carrots over the meat, stir, fry for a few minutes and pour 100-150 milliliters of water. Close the container with a lid and let the products simmer on medium heat for 10-15 minutes.

Peeled potatoes cut into small pieces, add them to the pan, stir and pour water again, which should completely cover the legs and vegetables. You can adjust the amount according to the desired density of the dish. Let everything simmer for 15 minutes.

Then add the tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and season. In addition to black pepper and salt, you can use basil, coriander or other preferred herbs. Stir and let the dish cook for another 10 minutes under a lid.

Finely chop the garlic and fresh parsley and / or dill. Mix them with sour cream and pour the sauce into the pan with the other products.

Stir and you can now serve the appetizing dish.

Serve hot.

Have a good time!
