Required products :
600 g pork (which may be beef)
4 medium pears
2 onions
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon ground paprika
1 tablespoon of honey
400 milliliters of beer
1/2 lemon
salt and pepper
oil for frying

Method of preparation :
Cut the pork (transverse to the fibers) into medium-sized pieces, wash well (until the water is clear), then dry.
Add salt to the meat, sprinkle with paprika and flour, stir so that the pieces are covered on all sides.
Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
Peel an onion and cut it into slices or semicircles.
Add them to the pork and fry for about 10 minutes (until golden). Then pour the beer, put 1 tablespoon of honey and wait for it to boil. Close the pan with a lid and let the dish simmer on low heat for about an hour.
Wash the pears, peel them, cut them into four and clean the core with the seeds. Pour a glass of water into a suitable container, place it on the stove. Once it boils, add the juice of half a lemon and put the fruit. Let them cook for about 3 minutes and take them out of the water.
Return to the meat. If it has been almost an hour since it has been simmering and there is still a lot of water in the pan, remove the lid and increase the temperature of the hob.
Once the liquid has evaporated, add the pears to the pork and stir. Close the pan with a lid and leave the dish on the fire for 10 minutes.
Finally, season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
