Learn how to cook "Strawberry jam with honey (without cooking)". Delicious recipe.

In the strawberry season we can not miss these small but juicy and delicious fruits.

We present you a recipe for making fragrant strawberry jam , which differs from the mass technologies known to most of us.

The interesting thing in this case is that this jam does not require cooking, nor does it require the use of sugar. You must be wondering how strawberry sweetness is obtained then? Here is what the author of the recipe Stamen Stamenov advises, who shared with us his culinary creation in order for it to reach a wider audience to enjoy this wonderful fruit dessert.

Necessary products for making strawberry jam with honey:

  • fresh enough ripe strawberries (to choose only healthy uninjured fruits);
  • honey.

1 jar of honey is added to 1 kg of fruit.

How to make strawberry jam without cooking?

First, choose only healthy and well-ripened strawberries. You can replace it with other small fruits such as cherries, but then you need to peel them.

The next step is to remove the green parts of the fruit.

Distribute the strawberries in jars, filling no more than 80% of their volume. When you are done with this, just pour the fruit with natural aromatic honey to cover them.

If you use similar fleshy and soft fruits that do not have a hard skin, as is the case with stone fruits, for example, the jam will be ready very quickly. Of course, the exact time depends on a number of factors and can range from a few days to a month or two. It is considered ready when the color of the contents of the jar is uniform.

Meanwhile, every 1-3 days, press down with a spoon the fruit that has appeared on the surface. This is done 1-2 times a day, and the jam should not be stirred.

The aroma is unique.

When it's done, spread a slice of fresh bread and have fun!
