Required products :

  • 500 grams multi-leaf dough
  • 2 onions
  • 900 grams of minced meat (optional)
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 grams of cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley and thyme
  • 50 grams of butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Spread the dough on the kitchen counter and roll out, if necessary, you need a thin layer. Grease it with melted butter, roll it up and put it in the fridge for an hour.

During this time, deal with the filling.

Peel an onion and cut it into small cubes, then stew it in a little oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry well (you can also use tomatoes).

Grate the cheese in large pieces, finely chop the thyme and parsley.

When the minced meat is ready, add to it one egg (previously beaten), cheese and green spices, season with salt and pepper, mix everything thoroughly.

Grease the bottom of the pan with oil and spread the dough. Spread the resulting meat stuffing on it, form a roll, the surface of which spread with the other egg (beaten).

Bake the strudel in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 30 minutes.

If you wish, a few minutes before removing the roll, you can put tomato rings on top, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake.

Enjoy your meal!
