Canned salmon is a great way to get omega-3 fatty acids. In combination with avocado, you supply the body with additional useful fats, which are necessary for the health of the body and the stimulation of the immune system. Avocados do not contain saturated fat or cholesterol. The combination of these two foods will satiate you for a long time.

Required products :

  • 1/2 cup skim yogurt
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 canned salmon
  • 2 avocados, cut in half + 1/2 avocado, diced
  • chopped green onions for garnish

* You may not use mayonnaise, but a little more yogurt. Another option is vegan mayonnaise.

Method of preparation :

Mix in a bowl the yogurt, celery, parsley, lime juice, mayonnaise (optional), mustard, salt, pepper and salmon and mix well. Add the diced avocado to the mixture.

Fill each half of the avocado with the salmon mixture and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Enjoy your meal!
