How To Cook Stuffed Chicken With Dried Fruits, Walnuts And Honey Sauce - Recipe

Required products :

2 apples
2/3 teaspoon finely chopped dried apricots
1/2 teaspoon raisins
1 teaspoon coarsely chopped walnuts
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 teaspoon apple juice
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon spoon dried savory
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 chickens, divide each into two
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

 

Method of preparation :

At the bottom of a suitable pan spread a mixture of chopped apples, dried apricots, raisins, walnuts and cinnamon, pour all the melted butter.

Wash the chicken cut into two parts, dry them, rub with salt and pepper, then place on the fruit base with the breasts down.

Mix apple juice with honey and savory. Spread the chicken with this sauce and bake in the oven (preheated to 200 degrees) until done.

Serve the meat, torn in portions, put a little of the fruit and nut filling. If you want, garnish with pre-cooked rice, which will absorb some of the sweet taste of the fruit.
