Required products :

  • 1/2 cup raw bulgur
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1/4 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/4 tea cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon mint, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

 

  • Boil the water in a small saucepan, add the bulgur and reduce the heat.
  • Cook under a lid for about 5 minutes or until the seeds completely absorb the water. Stir periodically.
  • Once completely cooled, transfer the bulgur to a large bowl and add the remaining ingredients.
  • Mix the salad well and serve.
