Required products :

  • 1/4 tea cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed or pressed
  • peel of 1 lemon, peeled or finely grated
  • 1/4 tea cup of fresh herbs, finely chopped / parsley, thyme, basil, etc./

Method of preparation :

 

  • In a medium bowl, combine the lemon juice, olive oil, mustard, salt, flaked red pepper and black pepper.
  • Stir until the salt is completely dissolved.
  • Add garlic, lemon zest and fresh herbs. Stir.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and store the marinade in the refrigerator for no more than 1-2 hours.
