Required products :

  • 50 grams of dark chocolate, melted and slightly chilled
  • 250 grams of unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1 1/4 tea cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 2/3 tea cups flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup fresh milk, whole milk

For the chocolate ganache :

  • 200 grams of dark chocolate
  • 2/3 tea cup cream

For garnish :

  • fresh fruit

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  • Grease a cake tin with oil approximately 23 cm in size.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter, sugar and salt with a mixer.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating until each addition until smooth.
  • In another bowl, sift the flour, cocoa and baking powder.
  • Add half of the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and stir with a wooden spoon.
  • Add the second half and stir again.
  • Carefully add the melted chocolate and milk and mix again until a homogeneous and soft dough.
  • Pour the mixture into the form and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  • Allow the marsh to stand for 10 minutes before turning it on a wire rack to cool.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate ganache by heating the chocolate and cream in a saucepan on a water bath. Stir until smooth.
  • Glaze the cake and let it rest for 15 minutes to allow the chocolate ganache to set.
  • Garnish with fresh fruit, slice and serve.
