How To Cook Vegetable Sauce With Garlic, Dill And Parsley - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 kg of tomatoes
  • 170 grams of celery
  • 170 grams of sweet peppers
  • 100 grams of zucchini
  • 100 grams of old onions
  • 100 grams of carrots
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 / 2-2 / 3 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • a few sprigs of dill and parsley


Method of preparation :

Cut onions and peppers into thin straws, grate carrots, zucchini first into thin slices, then into quarters.

Also cut the celery and mix it with the lemon juice. Leave for 15-20 minutes.

Heat olive oil and simmer the vegetables in it over medium heat, gradually adding them in types every 3-5 minutes: first celery, then carrots with onions, peppers and finally zucchini.

When they are semi-finished, pour the chopped or grated tomatoes into the bowl, add the garlic, salt, sugar and pepper to taste. Stew over low heat for about 10-15 minutes.

At the end of the process, add chopped dill stalks and parsley, stir in the sauce and remove from the heat.

You can serve it hot as an addition to pasta, side dishes and meat dishes. Or just eat it with bread.
