Required products :

  • 6 large vine leaves
  • 1/4 onion
  • juice of half a lemon
  • a handful of ground walnuts
  • a handful of ground almonds
  • 50 grams of rice
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2-3 tablespoons of water
  • salt to taste

Method of preparation :

Fill the vine leaves with cold water. Boil the rice in salted water.
Heat the oil in a pan and add the finely chopped onion, ground nuts and fry until golden. Then add the rice, pour the lemon juice and stir.

Put 1 tablespoon of the prepared stuffing on each vine leaf and shape the sarma.
Arrange them in a saucepan and pour a little water. Put the dish on the stove and let the dish cook until the water evaporates.
