Easter is approaching, so many housewives think in advance about what dishes they will cook, how to decorate the house and the festive table. I propose to serve your festive Easter table with napkins in the form of a water lily.

Napkins in the form of flowers look very harmonious on the Easter table, and in addition to the napkin itself, which is folded in the form of a water lily, you can put small gifts, decorative or boiled quail eggs, a cross bun, a snack pie or colorful sweets. Such a surprise inside the napkin will appeal to both adults and children.

How to fold a napkin in the form of a water lily step by step instructions with a photo

Step 1

For work, we need a large paper napkin (30x30 cm in size) and a glass.

Step 2

Unfold the napkin completely and fold the corners towards the middle of the square. Iron the folds well and make sure that there are no overlays at the corners.

Step 3

Then fold the napkin again with the corners towards the middle of the square and iron the folds. The size of the square will be significantly reduced.

Step 4

And the third time, fold the corners to the middle, ironing the folds. The square will be very small.

Step 5

Firmly holding the center of the napkin with the corners, turn the napkin over to the other side.

Step 6

And once again fold the napkin with corners to the middle of the square.

Step 7

Holding the center of the napkin with the corners with your fingers, turn the napkin over onto the bottom of the glass and, in turn, begin to turn the petals down.

Step 8

By constantly walking in a circle, you will turn 12 petals down.

Step 9

Remove the napkin from the glass and turn it over. The napkin is ready to serve.
