Cauliflower has a low calorie content and is therefore widely used in dietary nutrition. This cabbage contains antioxidants, and also has a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system.
In season, you can freeze cauliflower at home and then use as needed. For freezing, you need to choose the right cabbage: fresh cabbage of milk maturity, sluggish and without damage, is suitable. For a child, cauliflower grown without the use of chemicals is frozen in the freezer.

Step 1
For freezing, you need to prepare water, fresh cauliflower (1 kg), a knife, a colander, a saucepan, freezer bags and a cutting board.

Prepare the cabbage: carefully disassemble into inflorescences.

Rinse cabbage well under running water.

Before freezing, cauliflower is best blanched slightly. Bring 500 ml of water to a boil. Dip the cabbage for 3 minutes in boiling water.

Remove the cabbage and immediately dip it in ice water for 3 minutes.

Let the water drain and dry the cauliflower.
Step 7
Divide into freezer bags. Remove as much air as possible from the bags. Send packages to the freezer for storage. Freeze for at least 1 day. Frozen cauliflower can be stored for up to 1 year. In winter, frozen cabbage is perfect for complementary foods and for preparing various other dishes.
