Growing green peas on your site is not difficult, so many do just that. They can enjoy fresh sweet peas throughout the summer if they grow it in a conveyor way, that is, plant peas in 3-4 stages after 1-2 weeks each next stage. Do not forget to freeze the excess grown peas.

Green peas are an excellent vitamin preparation for the winter. Green peas are harvested during June-July. Then such a preparation can be added to soups, stews, when stewing a mixture of vegetables and meat, used for stuffing zrazy, chicken rolls, added to casseroles and soufflés. In many of these cases, frozen peas are added to the dish.
You can use such peas for salads. In this case, the peas should be thawed and placed for 1-2 minutes in boiling water, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. Then such chilled peas can be added to any salads.
Recipes with fresh green peas
Step 1
For work, we need fresh green peas (500 grams), water (1 liter), a kitchen towel, a saucepan, a colander.
Step 2
Rinse the peas under running water.
Step 3
Bring water to a boil. Place the peas in portions in a colander and blanch in boiling water for 3 minutes. This is done so that the peas do not lose color and wrinkle when frozen.
Step 4
Immediately cool the blanched peas in ice water.
Step 5
Dry the peas.
Step 6
Divide into freezer bags and place in the freezer for storage.

For work, we need very young peas (500 g), a bowl, freezer bags.

Open the pods.

Hustle the peas, discarding wormy or spoiled ones, if you find any.

Portioned into small freezer bags. Send to freezer for storage. This method of freezing is only suitable for very young and tender peas.
