Garden strawberries are grown in garden plots. It wins in size, but noticeably loses in taste and unique aroma, which wild strawberries can only acquire when grown in natural forest conditions.
The popularity of strawberries is explained not only by its amazing taste, but also by its great benefits for the body. Regular consumption of strawberries slows down the aging process, strawberries remove harmful cholesterol from the body, it is recommended to use it for anemia, beriberi, weakening of the body, atherosclerosis, high blood pressure.
Strawberries are widely used in cooking. Jams and preserves, desserts are prepared from it, cakes, tartlets, ice cream are decorated with strawberries. But it is most useful to use fresh strawberries, and in winter - frozen. Indeed, when frozen, strawberries retain most of their beneficial properties.
You can freeze strawberries in the form of mashed potatoes with sugar, in sugar syrup and whole berries. It is good to decorate desserts with such whole berries in winter.
Recipes with strawberries
Step 1
For work, we need fresh strawberries (400 g), sugar (75 g), colander, bowl, blender, freezer bags.
Step 2
Rinse strawberries under running water. Shake off moisture well.
Step 3
Place strawberries in a bowl. Add sugar.
Step 4
Grind the mass to a puree. It is not necessary to achieve a homogeneous puree - with small pieces of berries, such a puree will be even more interesting.

Pour puree into freezer bags. Send to freezer for storage.

For work, we need fresh strawberries (300 g), a plate, freezer bags.

With this method of freezing strawberries, it is better not to wash them. And if you are not sure about the purity of the berries, carefully rinse them and dry them by spreading the berries in a single layer on paper towels. Arrange dry berries in one layer on a plate and send to the freezer for 1.5-2 hours for partial freezing.
Step 3
Fold the frozen berries in portions into freezer bags. Squeeze the air out of the bags as much as possible. Send bags of berries to the freezer for storage.

Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cool completely.

Place berries in a freezer container.

Pour the berries with cold syrup.
Step 5
Close the container with a lid and send to the freezer for storage.
