How to fry potatoes with a crust correctly

Fried potatoes are a very simple dish with a minimum of ingredients. It would seem - well, what can go wrong here? .. But not always at home, fried potatoes turn out to be excellent: one when the top is crispy and golden, and the middle is tender and tasty.

Often potatoes burn in places during frying, and in places remain raw. Sometimes it sticks to the pan. In order for fried potatoes to please your whole family with their taste, remember some tips:

- Cut the potatoes into equal pieces. Better - sticks. Then it will fry evenly and it will not happen that a part is already overcooked, and a part remains raw.

- dry the tubers before frying. The presence of moisture on the surface of the potato prevents the formation of a golden crust.

- for faster cooking, potatoes can be pre-dipped in boiling water for 1 minute.

- To form a golden crust, you can sprinkle potato bars with a little flour.

- do not salt the potatoes during frying, so that juice does not stand out from it. This will prevent a crust from forming. Salt can be at the end of frying or already in the plate.

- Fry over medium heat. On a small fire, a golden crust does not form, and on a high fire, the potatoes will begin to burn on top, and the middle will remain raw.

- potatoes are fried in a well-heated pan with a sufficiently large amount of sunflower oil. Never put potatoes in a cold pan.

- for frying, choose a wide frying pan with a thick bottom - in such a frying pan potatoes will turn out best.

- Put the potatoes in the pan in no more than two layers. Otherwise, it will not fry, but will be stewed.
