How to make a Christmas tree from a paper napkin step by step instructions with a photo

Step 1

For work, we need a paper napkin, preferably with a New Year's pattern or ornament. Usually the napkins in the package are folded in four.

Step 2

Unfold the napkin once. Looks like it's folded in half.

Step 3

Conditionally mark the center of the narrow upper edge of the napkin. Fold the right corner of the napkin along a line that will run from the center of the narrow side of the napkin to the center of the wide right side of the napkin.

Step 4

Fold the left corner of the napkin to the right.

Step 5

Then fold the left side of the napkin again so that the fold follows a line from the center of the narrow top side to the center of the wide right side of the napkin.

Step 6

Conditionally divide the bottom half of the napkin into 1/3 and 2/3.

Step 7

Bend the bottom half of the napkin up along this conditional line in the direction opposite to the natural fold of the napkin.

Step 8

Here's what the napkin will look like on the other side.

Step 9

Fold the right corner of the napkin at a right angle, as shown in the photo.

Step 10

Similarly, fold the left corner of the napkin at a right angle.

Step 11

Turn the right corner of the napkin inside out by taking it in the middle and pulling it to the left.

Step 12

Turn the left corner of the napkin inside out in the same way.

Step 13

Turn the napkin over. It turned out a Christmas tree. The master class is over, the Christmas tree made of paper napkins is ready.
