How To Make Honey Drinks: 5 Great Recipes (Bonus - Classic Honey Cake Recipe!)

We all want to be healthy and live long, but we have neither the strength nor the time for proper nutrition, vitamins, excellent sleep and daily walks of 10,000 steps.

We all want to be healthy and live long, but we have neither the strength nor the time for proper nutrition, vitamins, excellent sleep and daily walks of 10,000 steps. Motivation is lame, memory fails, it remains to dream and make promises that from next Monday everything will be like clockwork ... We cancel Mondays and simplify our lives! Let's just eat a couple of tablespoons of honey a day, but it's better to take 100 g of honey per day for an adult and 30 g for children.

No effort, but as a result, we will strengthen the immune system, disinfect the oral cavity, lower the acidity of gastric juice, improve metabolism, set up nervous activity, and we will also sleep better!

Honey contains more than 100 substances and elements important for the body, and at the same time, natural! To collect 1 kg of honey, a bee needs to visit about 10 million flowers! Moreover, most of the flowers are medicinal!

It is best to use fresh natural honey: dilute a spoon in warm water, add to sugar-free compote or herbal tea (cooled!), Pour over apples (fresh or baked) or toast. By the way, this is a great substitute for sweets.

Moreover, honey can not only be eaten, but also applied to the face in the form of a mask.

This honey mask will help to make the skin fresh and soft and prevent wrinkles. Mix 100 g of honey with lemon juice, apply a thin layer on the skin of the face for 10-15 minutes. Wash off with warm water. The mask is designed for dry and normal skin.

Attention! A very simple anti-wrinkle mask! 2 tbsp. l. mix flour with beaten egg white, add a teaspoon of honey. Apply to clean face for 10-15 minutes, rinse with water.

Honey can also be added to a salad dressing or marinade, to make an incredible number of desserts and wonderful drinks. Recipes for drinks made from honey and share. We offer to make honey kvass, sbiten, lemonade and a vitamin drink with rose hips. We could not resist and added our favorite honey cake recipe, which can be prepared for no reason or by September 1!

1. Honey kvass

5 l boiled water 100 g honey 100 g raisins 20-40 g flour 5 g yeast

Mix all the ingredients in a barrel and seal for 5-6 days.

2. Honey lemonade

250 g honey 3 l water 7.5 g brewer's yeast

Pour boiling water over honey and add yeast. A day later, when fermentation begins, pour the lemonade into bottles and cork. Fortunately, now you can buy special bottles with attached stoppers. If you don't have one, then you'll have to do it yourself. Pour lemonade into bottles, plug with suitable corks, and tie the corks with wire. Champagne bottles can be used.

3. Sbiten from honey

1 glass of water 1 tsp honey bay leaf ginger, cloves, cinnamon, allspice - to taste

Crush the spices in a mortar, put in a saucepan with water and honey. Boil for 3-5 minutes. Leave under the lid to brew. Cool and serve.

4. Rosehip and honey vitamin drink

For 1 st. l. honey - 1 tbsp. l. dried rose hips.

Boil the washed berries in a glass of boiling water and boil for 10 minutes. Then pour into a clean glass dish and insist under the lid for 12 hours. Strain, add honey and drink. Adults are recommended two glasses a day, children - one.

5. Cranberry kvass with honey

4 l water 400 g honey 600 g cranberries 1/4 tsp. brewer's yeast 1/2 tsp. wheat flour a few raisins

Mash cranberries in 2.5 liters of water, bring to a boil, strain. Strained cranberries put in a saucepan, pour another 1.5 liters of water, boil again and strain. We do this in order not to spoil the colors. We combine both fruit drinks, add honey and bring to a boil. Morse cool, add raisins and leave for a few hours. Brewer's yeast with flour is diluted with cold water and pour the mixture into the fruit drink. When white foam appears on top and raisins emerge, we filter the kvass, bottle it and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of days.

Classic honey cake

The simplest, time-tested recipe for "Honey cake" is in front of you. Classic!

So, we need:

520 g flour; 360 g sugar; 3 eggs; 4 tbsp. l. honey; 1 tsp soda; 800 ml sour cream.

In a small bowl, whisk eggs with baking soda.

In a deep saucepan, combine honey and 180 g of sugar. Over low heat, stirring, bring the mixture to a boil, then pour in (constantly stirring rapidly) the egg-soda mixture. The mixture will warm up, increase in volume and become like foam. We take it off the fire.

In small portions we introduce flour, each time we mix with a spoon until a homogeneous consistency. You will get a thick sticky dough.

We heat the oven to 200 degrees. We divide the dough into 10 equal parts and roll each thinly on parchment paper lightly sprinkled with flour (it will be easier to transfer the dough to a baking sheet). We cut out the contour with the help of a plate, but we do not remove the trimmings, we will make a crumb out of them. You have to work fast, because the dough hardens. Each cake (preferably on two baking sheets at the same time) is baked for 3-5 minutes. This will have to be verified empirically, because. Everyone's oven is different, as is the thickness of the cakes.

The finished cakes will cool quickly, we will leave them, and rub the trimmings with our hands into crumbs.

For sour cream, beat sour cream with sugar with a mixer.

It remains to collect "Honey". We smear each cake with cream and fold it in a slide, we also coat the top and sides with cream and sprinkle with crumbs.

"Honey cake" is infused in the refrigerator for 6 hours, after which you can eat! Chopped nuts, jam, sugar-coated cranberries and other additions - optional. You can sprinkle or grease each cake, or you can only decorate on top.

Enjoy!
