Ingredients:
  • cherry plum yellow
  • Bay leaf
  • Allspice
  • Black peppercorns
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Table vinegar 9%
We will need:
  • Pot
  • A spoon
  • jar with lid
  • Fork

How to pickle cherry plum step by step instructions with photos

Step 1

 

For work, we need fresh yellow cherry plum - 250 g, salt - 10 grams, sugar 15 grams, table vinegar - 3 tbsp. l., black peppercorns - 2 pcs., allspice - 2 pcs., 1 bay leaf, saucepan, spoon, fork, jar.

Step 2

 

Rinse the cherry plum well, prick in several places with a fork.

Step 3

 

Put the cherry plum in a jar and pour boiling water over it. Leave for 10 minutes.

Step 4

 

Drain the water into a saucepan and add sugar, salt, spices. Boil. Boil 2 minutes. At the end, add vinegar (you can prepare the marinade to your liking).

Step 5

 

Pour hot marinade over cherry plum in a jar.

Step 6

 

Close the lid. Leave to cool completely and then refrigerate for 24 hours. Marinated cherry plum is ready to serve.
