How to salt sorrel for the winter

Sorrel is exactly the crop that grows in one place in the garden or cottage without problems and special troubles for 5-6 years. During the season, you can harvest 5-6 crops of sorrel, because the leaves grow back in 2-3 weeks.

If the sorrel grows a lot, the housewives try to somehow preserve it for the winter: pickle, freeze, dry. One of the harvesting methods is salting. Sorrel is perfectly salted and then it can be added to any dishes. But at the same time, it is no longer necessary to salt the dish - the necessary salt is contained in the sorrel blank.

It is best to salt sorrel in small jars. It is very convenient if you use the contents of such a jar to prepare one dish. Pickled sorrel is best stored in the refrigerator.
