It takes ordinary mortals just to peel a potato and find a Band-Aid. We have prepared a list of tips and secrets that will teach you new things and help you save time in the kitchen.

1. Cut the potatoes

It would seem that there is nothing complicated in cooking rustic potatoes. They just took the potatoes, washed them and cut them into several pieces. But if we are talking about a large number of potatoes, then you can use an apple cutter, the main thing is to pick up potatoes in size.

2. We clean the sweet pepper

When we try to pit bell peppers, they fly all over the kitchen - and still a few remain inside. To make things easier, perfectionists are advised to simply cut the peppers in half lengthwise and cut off the tops. Then clean the halves of white membranes and bones - in just one movement.

3. Cut cherry tomatoes

Cherry tomatoes are often added to salads - but many chefs don't want to cut them up. But in vain - with cut tomatoes, the salad is much juicier. But precisely because of their small size, tomatoes are not so easy to cut - we advise you to place them between two plates or lids, and only then cut them.

4. We clean the eggs

Every housewife knows that after boiling, the eggs should be immediately dipped in cold water so that they do not cook any more and are better cleaned. But you can achieve an even more tangible result - just break the boiled eggs before pouring them with cold water.

5. Rub the cheese

There should be no problems with hard cheeses - they are called hard because their structure makes it easy to grate them on a fine grater. But with processed cheese, things are more complicated - it turns into gruel right in your hands. To avoid this, simply place the cheese in the freezer for 10 minutes.

6. Peel the strawberries

We advise you to remove the strawberry stalk with a straw: just pierce the strawberry through and through towards the stalk - and it is removed.

7. Peel kiwi

Sometimes peeling a kiwi is difficult - but we found an easy way. Cut off the tops of the kiwifruit, then carefully separate the flesh from the skin with a spoon.

8. Peel a banana

No, it’s not enough just to tear off the peel from a banana with your nails - so you can forget about the manicure. To avoid damaging your nails when peeling a banana, simply press down on the bottom of the banana or rotate your hands in opposite directions (remember how you made "nettles" as a child?) - the peel will crack and the banana will be easier to peel.

9. Cut the watermelon

No need to cut the watermelon into huge and uncomfortable rings. First, cut it in half, then turn it cut side down and cut into half rings - it's more convenient, and less effort is required.

10. Peel the Mango

With mangoes, the standard problem is either a lot of pulp remains on the skin, or the mango gives off too much juice. Try cutting the mango into large slices, and then separating the skin from the pulp with a glass - the pulp will remain inside, as well as the juice.
