Try to present fruits, nuts and other healthy foods to your children in the most interesting way.
Children and sweets have an indestructible bond with each other. Is there a child who does not like sweets and candies. A separate question is how useful they are for them. As parents, we can postpone the meetings with the sweet temptations as much as possible. It is not necessary to offer a two-year-old child a chocolate bar, the existence of which he does not even suppose. At a later age, he will only learn about sweets and look for them.
Here are some healthy alternatives with which we can replace some of the most harmful sweet temptations.
The most important is the personal example. When there are always fresh fruits at home (not waffles and desserts) and mom and dad eat them all the time, it's only natural for the little ones to love them. The fruits are sweet, tasty and also full of nutrients and vitamins. Show creativity when serving fruit to your children. Cut them into different shapes, which will make children love the fruit.
Most brands of ice cream in stores contain colorants, flavors and added sugar that are not suitable for children. Instead, make homemade ice cream with them. Homemade ice cream can be made from a variety of fruits, milk and a limited amount of sugar.
They are a source of essential nutrients and are extremely beneficial to health. In addition, they are sweet and you can add them to oatmeal with fresh milk and small pieces of chocolate. This will undoubtedly be a delicious and healthy breakfast for the little naughty ones.
Nuts are a source of many vitamins and minerals and are extremely useful for children's development. Make a mix of nuts, seeds mixed with small pieces of chocolate. Chocolate will certainly motivate children to eat more nuts. But you have to be careful with the amount of nuts you offer your children. They should not be overdone.
Sweets are a temptation for all children. Experiment and use natural sweeteners such as bananas and dates instead of sugar. Add carrots and make a colorful texture. Children will be fascinated by the new colorful and useful cake.
