Mare's milk has a white color with a bluish tinge and a slightly pungent taste. It differs in composition from the milk of other animals. It has twice as little protein and almost 1.5 times less lactose than cow's milk. It approaches breast milk and is absorbed faster than it.

The product is traditional for the eastern countries, it is used to make koumiss - a dietary and medicinal drink. In China, 3,000 years ago, mare's milk was considered curative. It is characterized by high biological value, so it is used as a substitute for breast milk, added to infant formula.

Composition and useful properties

Mare's milk contains about 40 biological elements necessary for the human body: the most important vitamins - A, C, B, amino acids, enzymes and minerals (aluminum, copper, manganese, sodium, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium and others ).

For medicinal purposes, the product is used in the treatment of metabolic disorders, as a remedy for colds, cancer, immune system disorders, severe catarrh and diarrhea in children.

Mare's milk:

Contraindications
